Spotlight: PENIS JEWELRY

Earlier this year I began interviewing porn stars for my blog... But lately I've found many other guys doing some sexy and interesting things that can make your dick hard, so this is the first in a new series of "Spotlight" articles featuring non-porn star guys.

What is penis jewelry? How and why did you come up with this idea?

It is non-piercing decorative jewelry designed for the penis.  Most of the jewelry is semi-precious stones, with some glass and metal beads. My design is original, but the initial idea was that of a friend.  Her name is Donna and she came up with what she calls "Dickie Doos".  I feature her design on my site.  We partnered up and I created my "off shoot" design and we sold together for awhile until she was done making her dickie doos and went to strictly tradition necklaces.  I know own the full set of designs with input from her now and then and we still sell together at one event every year.  I come up with new ideas all the time.



Where do customers wear your jewelry?

The most common place to wear the jewelry is where nudists hang out... clothing optional resorts and beaches. Some more restrictive resorts do not allow any body jewelry of any kind. ;-)

I have heard of guys wearing the jewelry up at the base of their shaft like a cock ring for stimulation.  The product is not recommend for use during sex, but to each his own.  It is designed to be decorative.



Who was your first customer?

A guy at one of the nude resorts.  His wife came and bought it for him, as he was too shy to buy one himself.  This is a common occurrence.



When did you start selling and mailing on the Internet?

Approximately 3 years ago.  I sell most of the product in person vs. on the Internet.



How many have you sold to date?

200 +

How much does penis jewelry cost?

The price ranges from $5 to $50, all depending upon the design and the materials used (especially if there are antique beads).



Do you have a wide variety of  designs? Are there some more elaborate designs for special occasions? And less expensive designs for everyday wear? (Are diamonds a dick's best friend? LOL)

There are a variety of designs.  From the simple ring that goes around the circumference of the shaft to the more elaborate hanging design.  Some are targeted for specific themes... the 60's, holidays, patriotic, some with skulls and leather pieces.



What's the most expensive piece you've created?

A $60 piece with some more rare antique beads.



Tell me about the offer to custom-fit the jewelry? How does that work?

Any design that goes are around the flaccid circumference of the shaft should be comfortable and not too tight and not too lose.  Too lose and it will fall off, too tight and it may feel like it is pinching somewhat, even though the material holding the beads together is stretchy.  So an accurate circumference measurement is highly recommended.



Have you had any unusual experiences while providing the custom fittings? Ever tempted to suck your clients?

Most of my clients are heterosexual men, so nothing more than a professional consultation. ;-)  It involves a guy measuring the circumference of his flaccid penis right behind the head.  The guy measures it himself, and in some cases his wife or girlfriend does the measuring.  The other method is they try on various sizes to determine the right fit.



Do you have a boyfriend or partner? if so, what does he think about you handling so many other dicks?

I have a partner of 9 years.  Since it doesn't involve me touching the penis, he is OK with it.

Who's the model in your pics?

I am the model in my pics.  But I would not refuse any volunteer models.



Does your mom know you do this?

She knows I make traditional jewelry necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, but not this type of jewelry.




Do you have another job/source of income besides this?

Yes, I work in IT.

What else do you do for fun?

I enjoy nude sunbathing, big surprise there.  Writing software and building some Web pages, yes I am part geek and proud of it.  Tinkering with the flower beds in the back yard.  Sometimes I ride my motorcycle when the weather in Oregon allows it.
