Always be willing to assist strangers who may be in need of directions along the roadside.
In an emergency, or if you have trouble keeping your eyes on the road, move to the shoulder, or into the woods to rest and better prepare yourself to avoid accidents.
And always be friendly to those who offer assistance to you. Keep yourself open to new experiences... Even being rear-ended can be fun, especially if others have some food they want to share for a spontaneous tailgate party.
