Don't Ask, Don't Tell... Just Suck It!

The question of gays in the military has finally been solved, as the U.S. Senate voted (65 to 31) to end the ban... Right-wing politicians debated against it for years, but support from President Obama and some military leaders, including Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, not to mention a court ruling that said the old "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy was illegal, helped in the long fight to repeal the ban.

As it turns out, the USA is behind the times... check Wikipedia for a list of the 37 other countries that have already allowed openly gay people in their armed forces.
